Albion restaurant Hervé’s Restaurant and Bar has announced a Scenic Rim produce showcase festive lunch celebrating their relationship with treasured supplier (and maker of the famous Jersey Girl cultured butter) Tommerup’s Dairy Farm. Taking place on Sunday November 27 at the Brisbane restaurant, this lip-smacking lunch features a carefully curated five-course menu with wine pairings by the Hervé’s team. The feast will feature a range of Tommerup’s Dairy Farm produce, which is know for making some of Queensland’s finest organic dairy, beef and pork.

The flavour-packed feast will kick off with a selection of moreish canapes like pork rillette with crisp capers and red-onion jam, house made ricotta cannoli with preserved lemon and chives, amuse bouche, and a creme fraiche sorbet made with strawberry cured ocean trout, cucumber, mint and lemon gel. The entree, the soft-poached Tommy’s pastured egg, features white asparagus, house cured Tommerup’s pancetta, witlof and mustard seeds and will be followed by the main affair, a rose veal with globe artichoke, roast carrots, heirloom beetroot, and sumac. The hearty lunch will then wrap up with a buttermilk panna cotta with apricot sorbet and elderflower champagne foam, petit fours and Herve’s Cannelé made with Tommerup’s Jersey milk and Scenic Rim honey.
