To celebrate Brisbane Festival, Brisbane Quarter is bringing a bunch of exciting offers, including a world-premiere large-scale work by contemporary artist Hiromi Tango. This awe-inspiring installation will transform Podium one of Brisbane Quarter into a meditation garden of golden peony flowers. Inspired by a poem by an infamous Chinese philosopher, Hiromi Hotel: YU KA 夢花 (Dream Flower) invites audiences to imagine their own transformation – like the peony flower, which holds special symbolism across many Asian cultures. 

Before or after you immerse yourself in the installation be sure to sip and snack at one of Brisbane Quarter’s spectacular dining destinations, which are offering a range of Brisbane Festival offers and Hiromi Hotel-inspired cocktails and dishes. Grab a Drink of Flower (Hendrick’s gin and tonic) and Food of Flower (Chinese donut stuffed with prawn, served with trio of dips) from Brisbane Phoenix, a TukTuk cocktail (lemongrass and kaffir lime-infused vodka with lychee, pineapple and ginger beer) from Phat Boy, a rainbow multi-layered coconut cocktail from Tenya, a spring-inspired cocktail from Persone, or a Citrus Smile cocktail mandarin gin, lemon juice, egg white, vanilla syrup and sumac spice garnished with edible art) from Living Room Bar.
