Discover the water-soaked wonder of SOAP

A fusion of modern circus, comedy, cabaret and bathtubs, it’s unlikely you’ve ever seen a show like SOAP before. Just another addition to this year’s impressive Brisbane Festival program, SOAP transforms a typical stage into a bathroom, providing its eight acrobats with a floor of tubs to use as props throughout the performance. The steamy production will also include some opera and a little romance, with a love story woven into the plot. Directed by Markus Pabst and Maximilian Rambaek, this will be the first time the German show will have been performed in Queensland. @ QPAC, September 18–22 more

The creation of a Slovenian dance troupe, Capital is an interactive performance that has made its way to Australia for the first time as a part of Brisbane Festival. The piece was created and is performed by Tina Dobaj Eer and Gregor Kamnikar, in collaboration with a few local guest performers and a live musician. @ QUT Kelvin Grove, September 19–22 more
