Brisbane, prepare for your funny bone to be tickled as the Brisbane Comedy Festival is rolling into 2021 with a hilarious line-up of professional funny folk whose sole mission is to make you grin and giggle. The three-week festival of funnies is set to take over the city from July 16 to August 8 so we suggest penciling it into your calendar, stat. more

The last time David Sedaris was in town, he shared the story of his discovery of a lump on his right side – a lipoma, a harmless fatty tumour. While most people would be eager to see the back of that tumour once removed, David had other plans. He wanted to feed it to a specific snapping turtle, one he had seen with a big growth on his head.
