Friends with Kids is written by, directed by and starring the obviously multi-talented Jennifer Westfeldt. Joining her real-life husband Jon in the movie are three of his former castmates from popular comedy Bridesmaids – Kristin Wiig, Maya Rudolph and Chris O’Dowd. While the movie may be devoid of Jon’s typical combination of martinis and tailoring, it fills the void left with some humour and enough heart to have you saying ‘awwww’ out loud.

The movie follows a close circle of friends as their lives change and evolve around children. Specifically it follows the relationship of the last two singles of the group who, afraid of missing out on parenthood, decide to have a child together but without the romantic relationship.

With such a popular cast of powerhouse funnymen and women, it’ll no doubt be an enjoyable journey of exploration through the nature of friendships, family and love.
