Vapiano’s Carbonara Cob Loaf

If you’ve ever tasted Vapiano’s pasta then you can probably understand how the Italian restaurants have sold more than 62,000 kgs of the dish this year so far – it’s simply delectable. Now, the Italian eatery has once again invested in a vessel worthy of its greatness – the mighty cob loaf. Yep, you can have your pasta in a cob – and you can eat the bowl too! Now that’s innovation, friends. The OG carbonara cob loaf is back, which sees a crusty cob filled with Vapiano’s signature creamy spaghetti carbonara and topped off with parmesan cheese.

This time around we can also stick a fork into two new tantalising flavours. There’s the pomodoro cob, a pasta accompanied by vine-ripened tomatoes and onions, with the option of parmesan or vegan cheese. Last but not least there’s a bolognese cob, which combines pasta with tender beef and pork, onions, carrots and cherry tomatoes, which is then served in a delicious cob loaf with parmesan cheese. The carbonara and bolognese cobs are just $29, and the pomodoro is $24.

These carb-loaded babies are only available until the end of October, so we suggest you run, not walk, to Vapiano now. To discover your closest Vapiano restaurant, hop over here.
