So, you missed out on ‘Weird, Wild & Wonderful’ did you? Or perhaps you have fond memories of ‘Dank, Dark & Delicious’? Either way, all will be good in the world again come January 17 as Newstead Brewing Co. hosts its third seasonal beer and food event.

‘Surf, Suds & Sumptuous’ is the summer edition and, as the name suggests, the gang is doing what us Queenslanders do best during the season – indulge in the finest seafood and drink cracking beer.

Kicking off at 6:00 pm expect your palate to be treated to four sumptuous dishes featuring fresh local catches including mussels, crab, tuna and red claw yabbies. All four plates will be expertly paired (well, sort of) with Newstead Brewing Co. beers (suds, geddit?) including The Nundah – the brewery’s summer seasonal hefeweizen that is being launched and unveiled on the night.

Both previous events have sold out and, as usual, places are limited. Be quick if you want in.
