There are few ways better to spend a mild Brisbane arvo in autumn than by soaking up the sun with bites, beats and tipples. The Sound Society is returning to South Bank Parklands for a chilled weekend of live tunes and lush scenery – all for free! You can catch live sets from some of Brisbane’s best up-and-coming musicians, all with South Bank’s gloriously green surrounds as the backdrop. It’s the ideal way to unwind after work on a Friday or to max out your weekend vibes on a Saturday.

Bring your own picnic or grab something delicious to take away from one of South Bank’s phenomenal food vendors – or why not make a night of it and book ahead for some dine-in delights before (or after) you swing by The Sound Society! Psst … the River Quay Green is also a licenced area, so if you’re heading to Friday’s sessions you can BYO tipples with your food.

The Sound Society South Bank is held at River Quay Green on Fridays from 4:00–6:00 pm as well as at the Rainforest Green on Saturdays from 2:00–5:00 pm. For more information on the musical line-ups, head to The Sound Society’s website.
