Spinners, Weavers and Fibre artists, founded in 1969, is the oldest running group of its kind in Brisbane. We promote and offer education in a range of traditional manual skills. Each year we open our doors to showcase our skills and handmade items and run workshops throughout the day.

Come along to our fascinating event which includes a fashion show, demonstrations of spinning and weaving, refreshments, and a range of stalls with hand crafted items. This year our workshops will include: Eco-dyeing, crochet, bookmaking, needle felting, weaving, tie-dyeing, basket weaving and wet felting. Come along and find a special present for Mother’s Day or learn a new skill.
