Paper: more than a flat surface will present paper’s uniqueness, often overlooked, in the traditional artistic endeavours, where it is not seen as a noble material. This exhibition presents works for your enjoyment in traditional bound books, dynamic contemporary artists books, 2D and 3D paper artworks, cyanotype, eco dyeing, collage, print techniques, mark making, art to wear, stitching on paper, boxed origami masks and roses as well as handmade papers from a wide variety of natural fibres.

Paper: more than a flat surface will be presented by the Queensland Papermakers and Artists at Richard Randall Art Studio in the Mt Coot-tha Botanic Gardens on Sunday May 26 from 1:00 pm and from Monday May 27 to Sunday June 2, from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm – with free admittance daily.
