Attention bohemians – it’s just been announced that Moulin Rouge! The Musical will take the stage at QPAC from May 16 to July 27. The ten-time Tony Award-winning musical sees Baz Luhrmann’s revolutionary film remixed in a new musical mash-up extravaganza that has hit Broadway, West End and Sydney. Produced by acclaimed Australian company Global Creatures, Moulin Rouge! The Musical features some of your favourite songs from the original movie including ‘Your Song’, ‘Elephant Love Medley’, ‘Come What May’, ‘El Tango De Roxanne’ plus additions from Adele, Katy Perry, Sia, Rihanna and Beyoncé. With a book by John Logan, music supervision, orchestrations and arrangements by Justin Levine, and choreography by Sonya Tayeh, Moulin Rouge! The Musical is a must-see for both theatre fanatics and lovers of the original film.
