The Good Beer Co invites you to an exclusive ‘Lunch for the Great Barrier Reef’ at Esquire restaurant.

Hosted by Dr Steven Miles MP,  Queensland Minister for the Environment and the Great Barrier Reef, and Ryan Squires, Executive Chef and Owner, Esquire, this exclusive lunch will take place at 12.30pm on Friday 8th July at Esquire, 145 Eagle Street, Brisbane. At a time when our national icon is under pressure from warming waters and pollution, Ryan is proud to serve Great Barrier Beer at Esquire and to join the Minister in hosting this important lunch and fundraiser.

The Good Beer Co is excited to launch Ryan as Ambassador for The Good Beer Co and our first good beer, Great Barrier Beer – a Queensland craft beer that helps fund the Australian Marine Conservation Society (AMCS) and their work with local communities and tourism operators to protect marine life on the Great Barrier Reef. As an award winning chef and restauranteur, Ryan will be calling on restaurants, bars, hotels, pubs, bottle shops hospitality venues and companies in Brisbane, Queensland and Australia to join Esquire in serving and supporting this revolutionary good beer that gives back.

Ryan will personally prepare and present an exclusive and delicious four course degustation menu. And, of course, he will be serving Great Barrier Beer to accompany the lunch, alongside Esquire’s fantastic wine list. After the lunch there will be a chance to relax in the stunning surroundings of Esquire, on the bank of the Brisbane river overlooking the Story Bridge. And we’ll be holding a charity auction, hosted by a local television anchor, to help raise more much needed funds for the AMCS’s work. The Good Beer Co. is proud to be Australia’s first social enterprise beer company.
