Inspire Festival

Want to live a more inspired, meaningful life? Or see the world in a new light and nurture your curious and creative spirit?

Inspire Festival is designed to evoke inspired thought and positive action, whether that be in your own life, or those around you. Inspire Festival’s previous speakers have included Gretchen Rubin (The Happiness Project), Vince Frost (Frost* Collective) and Hannah Pool. This year’s program promises to include local and national thought-leaders from a variety of disciplines.

Come along to one of the three sessions; Talk, Democracy or Drive or purchase a Festival pass to experience all three sessions PLUS an exclusive invitation to opening drinks on Friday evening (not available for individual purchase).
Inspire TALK 10am – 11.30am
Stan Grant, Trent Dalton, Robin Bailey, Kelly Higgins- Devine (host)
In this age of social media, texting and tweets the art of the truly inspiring conversation is being lost. These conversational maestros who have established careers curating and creating intimate portraits of the lives and stories of others share their deep insights into the art of conversation and how we can encourage human connection and conversation.
We wish to advise that Stan Grant will now be delivering his talk via Skype. In a demonstration of the power of talk, Stan will be participating in the Referendum Council that will lead a national conversation on recognising Indigenous Australians in the constitution.

It’s an election year. Once again we will go to the polls and exercise our democratic right to choose who leads our country. What does democracy mean in modern Australia? Do we vote with our heads or hearts and what do we need to consider when we head to the polls later this year.
