It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas and Brisbane’s favourite Swedish home furniture store is celebrating a little different this year, with a three-course festive dining experience.

On December 8, IKEA North Lakes will host a range of Christmas activities, including carols from the Swedish women’s choir and a three-course dining experience filled with Christmas classics with a Swedish twist. Enjoy a seafood tasting plate of gravlax, assorted herring and boiled egg topped with kaviar to start, followed by a main course of herb crusted baked salmon, turkey roast with cranberry and orange stuffing and a selection of IKEA’s signature meatballs. Finish off with a selection of cakes to satisfy your sweet tooth, including daim and hummingbird cake.
