Brisbane promoting company GRAIN is turning five! To celebrate, it’s hosting a two-day birthday weekender at the Brightside in October.

Set to be its biggest event of the year, GRAIN has made the first announcement of artists, which features 20 acts from around the country over two stages and two days.

Headlined by Jack Ladder, the first day is stacked with favourites old and new, including some special reformations from acts Babaganouj, Scott & Charlene’s Wedding and Pool Shop. The second day holds a slightly louder lineup featuring punk rockers Teen Jesus and The Jean Teasers, Peter Bibby and noise duo Party Dozen, among others. But the surprises don’t stop there, as Professional Live Wrestling Australia will takeover the festival for an hour, with a secret band accompanying them.
