Junky Comics will host the launch of Simon Hanselmann’s (Vice Magazine, Megahex, Worst Behaviour) and musician/cartoonist HTMLflowers’ (Virtual Candle) two new mini comics on August 21 at 6:30 pm.

Werewolf Jones & Sons #1 is a 50/50 split effort in drawing and writing. Hanselmann and Flowers have dedicated a small collection entirely to the lives of Hanselmann’s beloved Werewolf Jones and his two sons Jaxxon & Diesel. Break up motor cycles, thong song talent shows, fist fights in the principal’s office.

Only a month after the official release of HTMLflowers’ 130 plus page monograph Virtual Candle, No Visitors is the latest mini title from HTMLflowers. A collection of illness focused comics, collages comprised of hospital pamphlets, dark aimless drawings and journal entries written over the course of many hospital stays that Flowers went through from 2014 to 2015 to manage his chronic illness Cystic Fibrosis. Expect stories pertaining to coughing fits, new medication with life endangering side effects, masturbating in hospital bathrooms and insomnia.

Other mini titles that will also be available to purchase on the night include; a collection of HTMLflowers’ fashion series: Bright Threadz, a collaborative mini between Hanselmann, Flowers & UK artist JMKE: INFINITE WALK THRU and various anthologies featuring the work of Hanselmann and Flowers.
