On Saturday January 10, The New Globe Theatre is launching the Choose Your Weapon Series, a new live show pitting the songs of iconic rock bands against one another as reimagined by local artists. The first iteration of the series will feature two iconic groups from the late 80s and early 90s, Guns N’ Roses and Nirvana.

Performing hits from each band will be local acts Bertie Page Clinic, Junkyard Diamonds, Trash Queen and Walken. Interspersed between live sets will be grunge inspired burlesque performances. Tickets are $12 via Ticketbooth or $15 at the door. The fun will kick off at 7:30, so put on a headband or some flannel and enjoy some classics reimagined by Brisbane talent.
