Brisbane Writers Festival: Meet Fiona McIntosh

Celebrate the new-look Holland Park Library with an author talk by best-selling Australian-based author, Fiona McIntosh.

Fiona was born in England, spent her childhood in West Africa and has lived in Australia for the last three decades. After a long career in the travel industry, she now writes fulltime, seeking ideas for new stories from all over the world. Although Adelaide is her home, Fiona prefers to write her books in the solitude of southern Tasmania. Fiona’s bestsellers include Fields of Gold, The Lavender Keeper, The French Promise, The Tailor’s Girl and Nightingale. A prolific author, her recent novel The Last Dance is her 29th for adults and later this year Fiona will release How to Write Your Blockbuster, a practical and inspirational guide on how to become a professional author of genre fiction.

Don’t miss the opportunity to meet Fiona when she visits Holland Park Library as part of the 2015 Brisbane Writers Festival program.
