Dinner with a Difference is a unique dining experience hosted monthly by two hatted chef, Michael Harris at WATT Brisbane. ‘Tis the season to eat truffles!

It only comes around once a year, and boy we can’t wait for it … Truffle Season! For six weeks we’re given Mother Nature’s beautiful bounty of delicious truffles that are cultivated over a period of 10 years and brought to us here at WATT by the talented Madam Truffles.

To celebrate her haul, we’re throwing a five course feast dedicated to the Black Australian Truffle. With flavours reminiscent of France in winter, Head Chef Michael Harris and Trippas White Group Executive Chef George Diamond have joined together to bring you the best of what truffles can do. From classic pairings of mushrooms, to an inventive kangaroo dish, we’re pairing that dynamite ingredient truffle with some unique flavours to create an exceptional experience.

On the night, Michael and George will be on hand to introduce you to some of the finer details of this humble truffle, with our star for the evening being hand delivered that day to ensure our guests receive only the freshest ingredients from our local supplier, Madam Truffles. Questions, especially the hard ones, and conversation are encouraged.

If truffles make you weak at the knees and salivate at the thought, this is a dinner you’ll want to attend. With delicious food, knowledgeable hosts and one of the best locations in Brisbane, we’ve got the recipe for the perfect celebration.
