The Sunnybank Food Trail
The Sunnybank Food Trail is back in 2023 with bigger dishes, more festivities, and better bites! Bring the whole family or friends for a day (and night) that everyone will enjoy. With live music, hundreds of tasty treats to try, a dedicated kids’ play area, and traditional lion dancers – there’s something for everyone! Taking place on Saturday July 22, one step into the foodie-lovers paradise will send your senses into overdrive as the aroma from over 70 authentic eateries boasting Asia cuisine’s best palate-pleasing plates take over – some from as little as $2!
This indulgent culinary affair offers a taste for every bud and an experience for those looking for more. Designed for food lovers and budding cooks alike, take a Food Discovery Tour with seasoned chef Tony Ching as he takes the flavour charge, navigating you around Sunnybank’s scintillating selection of food in a fun and informative way. Tony will show you the best places to eat and shop for fresh food and slip in personal insight along with a bounty of cultural stories at every bite and step. The tickets for these tours are $68 and offer morning, lunch, afternoon and dinner sessions. To purchase your tickets and learn about session times, head here.
While a long list of salivating plates awaits your bite, here’s a little taster. Dig into deep-fried wings from Korean Chicken &, vermicelli salad with pork or chicken from Pho An Eatery, deep-fried wontons from Just Dumplings, barbecue pork with special fried rice from Vietnam Corner, a juicy teriyaki black pepper two-hander from MOS Burger or flavour-filled plates of sushi from Hana Zushi. What’s savoury without sweet? We’re glad you asked. Hop to Milk Flower for a mango sago, Le Boulangerie Amour Fou for a decadent dark cocoa brownie, or Orange Tea for a passionfruit jasmine tea with coconut jelly. To plan your finger-licking fare ahead of time, head here, or just strap in and let your senses take the wheel.
With free entry, start your tasty trail at 12:00 pm and stay until 8:00 pm for dinner too! Take a peek at what’s on offer and check out the map of where you need to be and what you need to see (and eat), here.
