August is Pawaugust at The Prince Consort, which is dedicating the month to celebrating man’s best friend with a range of pooch-friendly events and opportunities to raise money for Animal Welfare League Queensland and Happy Tails Animal Rescue. Throughout August you can munch on chef-designed gourmet hot dogs at The Prince Consort and relish the knowledge that $1 from each dog is donated to Animal Welfare League Queensland. Every Sunday in August you can head down to the Garden Bar with your dog to crush a cold one with a bunch of very good boy sat Paws & Pints at The Prince. It makes for a cracker Sunday sesh to wind down the weekend, with chill vibes, deals your wallet will love, and weekly raffles packed with prizes for you and your pooch.  On Saturday August 25 The Prince Consort is teaming up with Felons and the Shafston Hotel for the 2024 Pooches Pub Crawl. For $10 (which includes your first drink) you can register to take your dog on a walk you won’t soon forget. Finishing at the Shafston there will be a dog wash on site to spruce up your furry friend after their big day out. On Saturday August 31 The Prince Consort is hosting Puppies & Comedy. Emceed by Richie Goodacre and Grace Leung, from 11:00 am you can enjoy a day of laughs from local Brisbane comedians while cuddling with a pack of lovable pooches and puppies – all in support of Happy Tails Animal Rescue.
