The Father at PIP Theatre

The Father at PIP Theatre

André is losing his memory or is he losing his mind? Perhaps he’s just fine and it’s everybody else. Anyway, this is his story, he just can’t quite stick to the storyline. He’s pretty sure he lives in Paris with his daughter, Anne. Or does Anne live in London with her new husband? Where is his other daughter, his favourite daughter? Who is the man in the kitchen with the chicken? Maybe Laura will be the angel who has come to save him.

Until Saturday June 24, head to PIP Theatre and catch The Father, a tragi-comic journey of dementia and an unforgettable portrait of memory loss through André’s eyes that works almost like a thriller. Written by Florian Zeller and Translated by Christopher Hampton, the play’s undeniably sinister undertones will keep you guessing long after you leave the theatre.

Tickets range from $46 to $86 and can be purchased here.
