Seasons – an immersive art exhibition in Paddington

Take a journey through Seasons as Brisbane artists Emily Day and Kate Quinn showcase a collaborative collection with artists Pia Kuykhoven and Chelsea Baker. The digs of Paddington’s Latrobe Art Space will host this immersive exhibition boasting 52 stunning floral still life oil and acrylic paintings, hand-built ceramics, native seedpod sculptures, artist designed candles and archival quality prints from Tuesday July 11 to Saturday July 16.

Seasons follow the seasonal trajectory from summer to autumn and winter to spring. Four sections of the gallery will showcase a collection of paintings, ceramics and candles, all carefully created to represent the season using flora, fauna, fruit, and colour. The same arrangements have been captured by both Kate and Emily, yet are depicted in their own painterly style and interpretation, to hang side by side

You can wander through and peruse the works from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm daily, as the artists themselves hang about. The opening night is a free event and will be held on Thursday July 13 from 6:00 pm and invites everyone to come along and enjoy the incredible art, chat with the makers, listen to live music, and sip a complimentary glass of wine.

Even better, if you like what you see, all work displayed will be available for purchase in-person and online!
