Switch the fluffy socks to docs and swap your view of the screen for the stage, Open Season at The Tivoli and The Princess Theatre is back!

The 3rd annual Open Season, Brisbane’s premier winter program of live music and performance, includes 30+ sizzling events from now to 25 August.

With a diverse and stellar line-up — featuring local legends, national treasures and big-name international acts — music aficionados and culture vultures are spoiled for choice and guaranteed zero chance of hibernation this winter.

Programming international acts for the first time, Open Season welcome — UK punk icons The Damned, cult Belarus post-punk synth-pop trio Molchat Doma, prolific producers Tourist (UK) and Oneohtrix Point Never (USA) and queen of Weimar punk Kabarett, Bernie Dieter in Konzert.

Celebrating local and national homegrown talent, The Tivoli and The Princess Theatre open their doors to — PNG-born, Australian raised singer Ngaiire partnering with Queensland Symphony Orchestra, King Stingray, Middle Kids, Lastlings, Full Flower Moon Band, First Beige, GordiCoterie and A Night For A Queen.

Finally, if a stacked day, night, or both, is likely to be more your flavour, snoop the likes of — Blak Day Out, where Brisbane’s best First Nations artists take over The Tivoli, Set Roulette, a music adventure that asks 8 of the country’s finest artists to leave their set times chance or Glamapalooza, a Queer celebration inspired by the legacy of Wigstock & Studio 54.
