Join your whole community to play our great national game and to promote understanding of mental health.

The New Farm Handball Festival held at Brisbane Powerhouse in 2012 was an Aussie school yard handball competition extravaganza featuring one-on-one competitions, casual foursquare, entertainment, and prizes involving the whole New Farm community. This community came together (all ages and abilities) to participate in the game we all love, whilst boosting social capital.

This festival is developed in collaboration with the New Farm Neighbourhood Centre, community members, local businesses and schools and is a genuine community event with food and drinks for sale.

In 2015 the New Farm Bouncing Back Handball Festival will be even bigger and better than before and is run as a Mental Health Week activity.
