Gather with Sonja Carmichael, a Ngugi woman belonging to the Quandamooka People of Moreton Bay, for a morning of weaving and yarning. Workshop participants can join the weaving circle, learn basic techniques and share stories. Following the workshop, take part in a live poetry walk to discover a fresh perspective on the Queensland Art Gallery’s Australian Collection. In this special event, Brisbane poets will perform poetry created in response to selected artworks.
