The Mother’s Day Classic is one of Australia’s largest charity events and raises money for breast cancer research. The Mother’s Day Classic walk or run for breast cancer research was established in 1998 – it started from modest beginnings as a walk in the park and has grown into a major national community event. The Brisbane MDC for 2016 will be at the Cultural Forecourt, the Parklands South Bank and involves a 4.5km and 8km walk and run along the Brisbane River, South Bank and West End.
