Meet Australian BMX legend Tim Wood at Flagstone

Australian BMX legend Tim Wood will make a star appearance at the opening of a new off-road mountain bike and BMX pump track at Flagstone. Come along and enjoy a day of free family fun and be one of the first to check out the new track. This is your chance to meet the champion and pick up some tips from one of the world’s best “vert” riders. A Queensland local, and professional BMX competitor for more than 20 years, Tim made the top 10 in the American X- Games three times and won the Asian X-Games twice. He is still recognised as one of the few people in the world who can pull off a 900 air. To celebrate, Flagstone developer Peet Limited is sponsoring a free community day with live entertainment, a 20 metre ferris wheel, carnival rides and delicious food, starting from 12:00 pm. Pump tracks are one of the newest and most exciting sensations in outdoor fun and a great way to get fit and build your skills. The new Flagstone track has been carefully designed to suit riders of all ages and skill levels. Just next door is the community’s newest park which has a great range of play equipment including a safe cycling track for very young children.

Gather up your family and friends for a fun day out. Flagstone is halfway between Brisbane and the Gold Coast, off Mount Lindsay Highway, and only 10 minutes from Jimboomba. While you are there, don’t forget to visit the Peet tent and fill in your entry for the chance to win a bike on the day.
