Say ‘¡Salud!’ to your dear love of margaritas and come on down to Howard Smith Wharves to celebrate the divine drink with its very own dedicated celebration. HSW has transformed this one-day event into an 11-day margarita mega-party – running from Thursday February 22 to Sunday March 3!
Iconic tequila brand Patrón is bringing its expertise in Margarita specialties to HSW venues with classics and unique twists on this most beloved cocktails. Serving up signature summer-infused interpretations of the salty-rimmed specialty with something sweet, smoky, spicy or savoury – or if you want to try something new, there’s something for all taste buds to be tantalised to shake up your margarita order.
Award-winning chef Louis Tikaram will also be taking over the Main Lawn with a Margarita Week Pop-Up food stall, held over two weekends from Friday February 23 – 25 and Friday March 1 – 3, with a bespoke menu drawing on his ties to Mexican culture and food after living in Los Angeles. With Mexican culture infused in everyday life in Los Angeles, Chef Tikaram is proud to deliver a tantalising menu to celebrate an unmissable tasting experience.
For the beer lovers, Felons Brewing Co has you covered. They’re hopping on board the margarita train and are launching their very own Margarita Sour Ale with Madre Mezcal.
Complete with entertainment across both weekends featuring The Kings Mariachi band plus piñatas and fun games for the kids, there’s something for everyone.
