Make Music Month

We are turning up the volume at City of Moreton Bay’s galleries, museums, libraries and beyond with a month-long music trail in June. Enjoy a huge range of free events including live performances, jam sessions, open mics, workshops, and music-making experiences.

No matter where you live in the City of Moreton Bay, there will be live music on offer to suit every taste. The best part is it’s totally free!

The Make Music Month program features local performers, from solo acts such as Basoki and Amber Worthington, to bands including Vixens of Fall, Freight Train Foxes and The Smashing Bumpkins. Take in the beautiful art exhibitions, fascinating museum displays and the world of stories while you are there.

Don’t miss the day-long musical celebration for global Make Music Day on 21 June. There’ll be free jam sessions and plenty of fun for all. Gather your friends and family to create unforgettable musical memories. This project is supported by the Regional Arts Development Fund, a partnership between the Queensland Government and City of Moreton Bay to support local arts and culture in regional Queensland.
