Multi genre and mesmerising, Lotus Born combines lucid spoken word with sublime music, dance intensified by an unfolding and enthralling visual art experience that is a feast for all the senses.

This unique event features real-time painting by prolific Tibetan artist, Karma Phuntsok, set to a collaborative score coordinated by Festival Director Tenzin Choegyal and Tenzin Yeshi (a graduate of the acclaimed Tibetan Institute of Performing Arts).  They will be joined by some of Brisbane’s finest musicians including Marcello Milani (Toothfaeries), Shen Flindell (Spirit of Bhakti), Peter Hunt (Kooii) and Richard Grantham.

Best of all, one lucky patron will be able to take the experience home with them, as the painting will be available for purchase after the concert.  Proceeds will benefit Tibetan Children’s Village.
