March sees the 17th instalment of Live At The Lodge and also marks the first collaborative event between Valley Heat Records and Music Is My Muse Brisbane who are champions of the local scene and will help us continue to bring you the nicest Brisbane sounds.

This month we present you with Guava Lava (goon-fuelled punk), Perve Endings (synth-driven punk) and Thistle (slacky slacker rock).

From the Cleveland train line, Guava Lava brings you some freakin’ punk tunes with bad lyrics, riffs made up on the spot, and some pretty gnarly shouting that will get you head bangin’, boot stompin’ and leg swingin’.

Within the first short months since their debut, Brisbane’s Perve Endings, have garnered lots of love for their first single, Peaked In High School, evident through their support slots playing with Aussie favourites Pist Idiots, Mini Skirt, Drunk Mums, Dumb Punts, Good Doogs, as well as NYC bad asses, Boytoy. Perve Endings finished their massive first six months as Brisbane’s up and coming band with the release of their emphatic second single, Good Boy. Kicking off the new year with a serious collection of shows and with more new music on the way, 2019 is set to be the year of the Perve.
