Greek Folklore: the Mythical Nymph – Themed Life Drawing Session

On Sunday August 20, join Studio Maverik for a unique life drawing session featuring a life model embodying the mythological Nymph from Greek folklore. The Nymph in Greek mythology signifies a female deity associated with growth in nature, such as the forest or bodies of water. Mythological narratives involving Nymphs typically placed them living among and in peace with the natural world, basking and enjoying the fruits of mother nature. This life drawing session from 2:00–4:00 pm will explore the narrative arc of the Nymph, playing with elements of the body and nature.

This event is held at The Station’s incredible arts venue and is run by two local creatives, Franny and Rhianna. Bring your own drawing materials, with basics provided. Tickets are $30 and can be purchased here.
