Frankenstein at QPAC

Frankenstein at QPAC

From the company behind award-winning stage spectacles Jane Eyre, A Christmas Carol and Dracula – comes Mary Shelley’s electrifying tale of creation and humanity, retold in a large-scale theatrical event. From Saturday October 14–28, head to QPAC’s Playhouse for Shake and Stir Theatre Co’s monstrous adaption of Frankenstein. Follow along as Victor Frankenstein, a brilliantly ambitious young scientist, pushes the boundaries of theory and morality to create a living being from the remains of the dead. But playing God has its consequences as he is shunned by society and plagued by an inherited sense of confusion, and rage as his miracle of science becomes a monster that threatens to destroy everything he holds dear. Can Victor redeem his unthinkable actions, or will he succumb to the horrors of his own making?

With adaptor Nelle Lee and Director Nick Skubij, this extraordinary creative team combine mind blowing production elements with the moving power of virtuosic storytelling, promising a night of thrilling theatre of monstrous proportions.

Tickets are $49 for youth, $79 for concession and $89 for adults. Purchase yours at the QPAC website.
