Digital Photos Workshop

We’ve all snapped plenty of digital photos in our time – so why not take the opportunity to add some physical fun back into the process? In this class you will get your hands dirty, and rainbowed, lit up and covered in sparkles made of light. Come and learn how to use common objects like prisms, coloured flour, LED lights and rainbow peepholes (ok those are not so common) to spice up not just your photos but the whole experience of digital photography then go home with a real life actual photo print of your creation.

We will throw coloured flour, peer through prisms and do all sorts of fun things to create our works of digital art! While being just a little bit crazy we will also learn:

– The basics of capturing photos with smartphone’s and tablets (but please bring any camera as well)
– Quick editing with Apps
– Using physical objects to add extra dimensions to photo captures
– Having fun!

Jonathan Nalder has been an app-noxious so and so ever since the first iPhone came out – especially where photography apps are concerned. Perhaps the best way to find out more about how Jonathan loves to capture the Australian landscape differently is to view his Instagram or Flickr accounts. You can also learn more about Jonathan’s education and technology support offerings on his website.
