Cabaret Open Mic Night


The Queensland Cabaret Festival invites emerging artists and established cabaret performers to pull out their party pieces and try daring new acts when they hit stage for Open Mic Night during the Cabaret at the Cremorne season. You never know who might drop by and be enticed onto the stage to belt out a show stopper, croon an original tune or serve up a cabaret twist on a pop classic. Expect the unexpected and discover the undiscovered, as a procession of cabaret stars step up to the mic and strut their stuff. Hosted by Queensland’s Queen of Cabaret Alison St Ledger, this will be a surefire cracker of a night.

On show as part of the Queensland Cabaret Festival, Cabaret Open Mic Night is set entice you into the exhilarating world of cabaret. See a stunning line-up of local cabaret legends take to the Cremorne Theatre stage as it gets an intimate makeover to celebrate QPAC’s 30th anniversary in style. For two weeks the cream of Brisbane’s cabaret artists will present a series of brand new cabaret shows featuring some familiar faces and some new stars on the rise.
