Destination Unknown Film Festival

Destination Unknown Film Festival

The Destination Unknown Film Festival is a celebration of the human spirit and our amazing planet.

An inspiring 2.5 hour session of short films from the road less travelled. With small budgets and big ideas, international indy filmmakers bring you raw and gritty stories. From the sky, the road, and everything in between.

Chill out and watch the films, then meet for a beer at the bar to talk about travel, conservation, adventure and changing the world.

Screenings begin at 6:30 pm sharp. But feel free to join the event for drinks and snacks from 6:00 pm.

The Destination Unknown Film Festival is the latest creation from festival director Morgan Mackay, a Queensland film-maker, traveller, skydiving instructor, paraglider pilot and outdoor enthusiast. Morgan is the co-creator of The Brisbane Backyard Film Festival bringing independent Queensland films to Brisbane backyards for the last seven years.
