The Beach Shack at Robina Town Centre

The Beach Shack at Robina Town Centre

Forget massive swells and scorching sand, there’s a cool new way to enjoy a day at the beach this summer at Robina Town Centre – without even needing to pack boardies, bathing suits or a towel.
Introducing The Beach Shack: an epic school holiday pop-up that’s transforming Ground Floor (outside Myer and Kookai) into an endless Gold Coast summer, where the sun is always shining (a nice change after the last few wet weeks!) and children can dive into the hottest coastal-inspired activities, dropping from Thursday 13th January.

DECORATE A FROZEN TREAT
No trip to the beach is complete without a scoop of the sweet stuff, so Robina Town Centre has teamed up with Betty’s Burgers to offer Ice Cream Decorating workshops on select days this month. Renowned for their creamy frozen treats, participants can choose from Betty’s Burgers iconic chocolate and vanilla flavours (both gluten-free) before sprinkling, drizzling, swirling and mixing in their favourite toppings and sweets.

DECK OUT SOME SUMMER THREADS
For parents who prefer to leave the arts and crafts activities to the experts, Robina Town Centre is taking on the mess with its T-Shirt Decorating Workshops, running over the next two weeks. Budding fashion designers and creative wunderkinds can get busy creating their newest wardrobe addition, with pops of colour, embellishments and accessories taking their tee from drab to fab in an instant. This is one school holiday activity your little beach lovers won’t want to miss.

Closing out on 23 January, families can add one or all of these summer Beach Shack sessions to their holiday itinerary before school returns next month, keeping the youngsters occupied while enjoying a cool reprieve from the summer heat. Workshops are best enjoyed by children aged 3 – 12 years old and parent supervision is required at all times.

The community will be kept safe with a range of measures in place to safeguard health and wellbeing, including mandatory event check-in, thorough cleaning after each session, and social distancing. Masks are also required to be worn when visiting the Centre.
