The Local Tedder Avenue

We love food fads as much as the next person, but there’s something to be said for classic, homestyle cafe fare – that’s precisely what you will find at The Local Tedder Avenue. The neighbourhood haven is the handiwork of husband-and-wife duo Natalie and Mark Perry, who is also behind Cafe 7 and The Local Paradise Point, who have combined the best parts of each of their existing venues together to create a space that is dedicated to serving the local community and providing a place to come together over good, non-pretentious food, specialty coffee and maybe even a couple of cheeky afternoon wines. The cafe offers a range of different seating areas including streetside seating, a light-filled dining room as well as a quirky garden bar out the back, which showcases a spectacular 8 m mural lovingly created by local artist Tracie Eaton to reflect the street’s unique surrounds, in particular the jacaranda trees.
