For the first time in ten years, larger-than-life rock duo Tenacious D – aka Jack Black and Kyle Gass – are heading back to Australia.

The self-proclaimed Greatest Band That Ever Played on Planet Earth is bringing its Spicy Meatball Tour down under in July 2024. The tour will see Tenacious D play huge arena shows across Sydney, Newcastle, Melbourne and Adelaide, landing in Brisbane on Thursday July 18.

While ‘Tribute’ remains the greatest song in the world, Tenacious D has a swag of new music. Last year, they released ‘Video Games’ – their first new track in five years, paid tribute to Chris Issak with a viral take on his classic ‘Wicked Game’, and delivered smash-shit ballad ‘Peaches’ from the Super Mario Bros. Movie.

Tickets to Tenacious D’s Brisbane show will go on sale on Friday 9 February at 12:00 pm via Frontier Touring.
