Visit Red Hill’s local book store Scrumptious Reads, and peruse the gallery where local artist Rob Rek, is showcasing his latest exhibition – Le Petit Jardin, until Monday July 31. The artist’s gregarious nature is embodied in this recent work. In his latest exhibition, Rob Rek takes his audience to a garden of Eden. The tiniest of birds and insects become giants while a collection of diminutive paintings you’ll find in Le Petit Jardin’s intricately detailed creations are embellished with ornate frames and symbols reclaimed from the renaissance.

On Friday July 14, everyone i invited to celebrate his work at opening night, kicking off at 6:00 pm, with the night ending at 9:00 pm. A lovely way to start off your Friday evening with inspiring art, bubbles and delicious eats.
