Dawn French Is A Huge Twat

Dawn French Is A Huge Twat

British comedy queen Dawn French is coming to Brisbane in 2024, touring her new one-woman stand-up show Dawn French is a Huge Twat. The satirically titled show is, as Dawn herself describes, “horribly accurate” and filled with “buttock clenching embarrassing stories” to give Australian audiences a peek behind the scenes of her work life.

Dawn French is a Huge Twat is touring across Australia in April and May 2024, with Brisbane audiences recently gifted with the announcement of a second show on Friday May 17 following the quick sell-out of the May 16 show.

As one half of the ground-breaking comedy duo French & Saunders (with Jennifer Saunders), Dawn French blazed a trail that shaped TV comedy through the 80s and 90s, spoofing everyone from Oasis to The Corrs and brilliantly sending up films such as Titanic and The Lord Of The Rings series. Dawn starred in multiple roles, including the enormously popular Richard Curtis series The Vicar Of Dibley. Her latest book, The Twat Files, is being published in October.

Brisbane fans can purchase tickets to the recently announced May 17 show here.
