June  16–18 2024 marks the inaugural Bartenders’ Weekender, a three day long festival for bartenders, drinks professionals, and cocktail enthusiasts celebrating the Brisbane bar scene. While bartenders and the hospitality industry is the primary audience with a number of seminars, trade tastings and events planned, there are also a number of exciting bar takeovers, featuring some of Australia’s best bars collaborating with Brisbane peers to create one-off drinks and experiences.

Cocktail lovers of Brisbane have the opportunity to kick their week off in style by attending one (or more) of the national and international bar collaborations taking place on Monday and Tuesday evenings.  More than 36 events across three days are planned, with bartenders from across Australia invited to get involved, collaborate with like-minded interstate and international peers, learn, network and celebrate. Bartenders’ Weekender is inviting drinks professionals — whether they’re from Australia’s big capital cities, the regions, or from across the seas — to come and discover what’s making Brisbane the next big thing in drinks.
