Teneriffe Festival unveils its jam-packed entertainment line-up
In just a few short weeks one of our favourite local fiestas, Teneriffe Festival, will be making its long-awaited comeback! This bangin’ ‘burb blowout will be full of delicious eats, decadent drinkables and some damn-fine entertainment. We’ve got the lowdown on who will be serenading you on Saturday October 23 and let’s just say, it’s going to be a day to remember.
Curated by the supreme tastemakers at The Triffid, the line-up for this year’s Teneriffe Festival is a who’s-who of homegrown talent. Event-goers will be treated to a dazzling performance from songstress and former member of rock band The Superjesus Sarah McLeod, whilst Queensland musos like Bobby Alu, Concrete Surfers, Karl S Williams, Taleena, Dopamine and more will be filling the air with tunes throughout the day. Then, it’s only appropriate you get on the beers before groove-inducing duo Mashd N Kutcher hits the stage for a killer set that is sure to get you boogying (even if its just in your chairs).
The day isn’t complete without some top-notch nosh and tantalising tipples, and you’ll get that in spades at Teneriffe Festival. Famished adventurers can treat their tastebuds to a selection of flavoursome food-truck bites or local restaurants like Sippy Tom, Streetcorner Jimmy, Siffredi’s, soon-to-open Evita Restaurant & Bar and Dalgety 2.0 Public House will be providing some delectable grab-and-go chews. Brisbane Gin Distillery’s double-decker bus will be making a spirited appearance, whilst grape juice will be in plentiful supply thanks to Bacchus Wine Merchants and hop heads can get their fix with help from Green Beacon Brewing Co.
Tickets for Teneriffe Festival are on sale right now! You can grab yours now via Oztix and if you hurry, you’ll be able to snag limited early-bird group passes for $40, which will secure entry for yourself and three friends. Time to hit the group chat and keep your calendar clear for one fun-filled day out on Saturday October 23.
