Dalgety 2.0 Public House

In July 2020, beloved Teneriffe establishment Dalgety Public House reopened under new ownership. Along with this injection of fresh blood came a fresh look and a fresh menu – updates which look to cement the bar as a local go-to once again. Fans of the venue’s gastropub-style hospitality will be pleased to know that much of Dalgety’s original charm has remain for its new iteration. The food menu boasts a mouth-watering selection of elevated classics, from steak tartare with pickled pear and rice crisps, crispy pork bites coated in ginger caramel and charcuterie plates to chicken wings lathered in smoked butter and chive yoghurt, chicken schnitzel with spiced pumpkin, mozzarella, chervil and pickled carrots, and a 250g rib-eye steak with celeriac puree, beets and horseradish cream. The bar’s capabilities will be increased, with the addition of new taps (bringing the total to 12) boosting Dalgety’s selection of craft and mainstream beers, as well as wine on tap. New televisions will screen sporting fixtures, while local musicians perform on Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights.
