Join Australian music icons Lo Carmen and Andrew Stafford for a heartfelt chat at Brisbane Powerhouse

Lovers of the Aussie music scene are in for a treat this April as two powerhouses of the industry, Lo Carmen and Andrew Stafford, are joining forces for one enlightening evening at Brisbane Powerhouse. Brains, beauty and a bucketload of talent will be front and centre at this not-to-be-missed conversation, here’s a taster of what to expect …

Later this month, two Australian legends, Lo Carmen and Andrew Stafford, will sit down at Brisbane Powerhouse to discuss and dissect Lo’s breakthrough memoir. In the recently released Lovers Dreamers Fighters, creative dynamo Lo lifts the curtain on her remarkable life story – from writing songs at age eight and forming her first band at 21, to touring Europe without a manager (or funds) through to her more recent success as a solo artist.

Adding to the already jam-packed talent department will be freelance journalist and author Andrew Stafford, writer of the much-celebrated Pig City, a book that maps Brisbane’s musical and political history. Andrew will join Lo at Brisbane Powerhouse for this song-and-conversation-filled evening that dives deep into into the rewards and costs of living a creative life. To join Lo and Andrew for this special Writers+Ideas event, head to the Brisbane Powerhouse website to grab a ticket.
