Kate Owen and Karen Backus are rural artists popping up in Brisbane with their BUSH BEAUTIES exhibition.

Kate and Karen are girls from the bush. With artistic pursuits in common they formed a friendship being neighbours in rural Northern NSW. Karen currently works from her home studio in Ashmore QLD and Kate from her custom-built studio at home on their property near North Star.

With this collection they share their passion for all things that grow wildly with recent and new paintings, ceramics, prints, cards and textiles in a colourful showcase of joyful creativity.

Opening Tuesday 20th to Sunday August 25 at Latrobe Art Space in Paddington the week will hold some fun and creative events.
