Beethoven’s Emperor


The year of Beethoven ends with his mighty ‘Emperor’ Concerto, one of the most stirring and moving musical experiences for piano and orchestra. It will be performed by Australian pianist Daniel de Borah, described by The Canberra Times as ‘without doubt one of the finest pianists in the country’. To finish our final concert of 2020, the Orchestra takes on the triumphant and glorious Pines of Rome composed by one of the most recorded composers of the twentieth century, Ottorino Respighi.
