Behind the Scenes with Adventure Filmmaker Michael Dillon

Watch previously unaired footage of some of the world’s most epic adventures and go Behind the Scenes with Adventure Filmmaker Michael Dillon. Michael was Sir Edmund Hillary’s personal filmmaker for many years, recording the challenges of Sir Ed’s Ganges expedition. He filmed parts of Tim Cope’s journey across Mongolia – he accompanied Tim Macartney-Snape and Greg Mortimer on their ultimately successful first Australian Mt Everest summit and he was on the mountain filming when Lincoln Hall spent the night in the death zone.

Michael has won more awards in adventure and expedition documentaries than any other individual worldwide, all while using old clunky equipment – well before Go Pros, drones and iPhones were standard equipment. World Expeditions is organising a speaking tour in Brisbane on Thursday March 26 at 6:30 pm. Join us at the Schonell Theatre, University of Queensland, St Lucia. Tickets are $25 per person, with part of the ticket revenue being donated to the Australian Himalayan Foundation.

Book here to avoid disappointment.
