Come along to a free pest fish education event hosted by Brisbane City Council. Learn about pest fish and the impact they have on the environment. 

Bring your own fishing gear (rod, reel and bucket) and head to the registration marquee to take part in lake fishing and go into the draw to win a prize.

Barb-free hooks and bait will be supplied. Free sausage sizzle and activities for kids. Participants should bring water, sun smart clothing, hat, sunscreen and enclosed shoes.

NOTE: outside of this Council-organised event, fishing in Forest Lake is prohibited.
